As long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by the language of images and their inherent power to convey feelings, experiences and even ideas. Since 2001 I have been working as a freelance photojournalist, gradually shifting towards cinematography and documentary film making since 2010. Today I shoot for a long list of well known international and local clients. Whether you need a dedicated director of photography or a full production crew, you can start with me, I know where to go from here.
I have a bachelor degree in photojournalism from the prestigious Danish School of Media and Journalism. In 2008 I won the first prize at the Danish Press Photo of the Year for best feature story, with the photographic essay about my little brother titled In My Brothers Kingdom. I have also done several international photography exhibitions, though my current focus is solidly on motion pictures. As of 2018 I became a fully fledged member of the Danish Society of Cinematographers, known as Dansk Filmfotograf Forbund (DFF), which I consider a great honour and testament to my ambition as a cinematographer and director of photography.
The last few years have been filled with some great projects and even greater clients. Here are some of the highlights of the most recent work.
If you have any questions about the individual project, want to know more about how I work or see more samples, please don’t hesitate to ask.
